Assiniboine Park Zoo Journey to Churchill

This multi building project featuring polar bears is aimed at educating the public on climate change biodiversity and the need for conservation. The diverse 10 acre project required an integrated design early in preconstruction in order to meet budgetary constraints. The engineer and Exco collaborated during the value added engineering phase to find alternate methods and materials without compromising quality or design intent. This complex project required lighting control systems that were integrated into one highly customized user friendly interface. To facilitate installation Exco also assisted with the design of the controls and automation with the US based designer RCK Controls for the filtration building.
